Description
Truss Lighting Package
Truss lighting package for weddings and private events in the Riviera Maya: 1 MK truss in T-design with black covers, 2 beam moving heads, 2 wash moving heads and 4 RGBW PAR LED 18×10 fixtures, plus 220V/110V power distribution and all cabling. 5-hour service including setup and strike.
This truss lighting package gives your dance floor a designed look without committing to a full production rig. Beam and wash moving heads share a single MK truss in a T-design, so the room gets both defined aerial effects and rich color washes across walls, ceiling and guests.
What the fixtures do
Beam moving heads project sharp, focused shafts of light (a moving-head fixture in stage-lighting terms) that cut through the room and move with the music. They are what make a first dance or a grand entrance read as a produced moment rather than a lit one. Wash moving heads do the opposite job: they flood wide surfaces with saturated color and change the mood of the whole room in a single cue, from warm amber during dinner to deep blue or magenta when the party opens.
Four RGBW PAR LED 18×10 fixtures fill in the base layer. They uplight the structure and the surrounding area so the room never goes flat between effects, and because they are RGBW rather than RGB they can also produce a clean white for speeches, toasts and photo moments.

Ideal for
The truss lighting package works best for weddings, welcome parties, private events and corporate dinners in Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, in ballrooms, terraces and covered outdoor areas. It is the right size for a single focal point: a dance floor, a stage, a DJ booth or a head table. If your venue needs two towers, a full stage wash or an outdoor setup exposed to weather, we will quote a larger event lighting rig instead.
Why a T-design truss
The T-design puts a vertical column behind the action with a short horizontal crossbar at the top. It carries all eight fixtures from one footprint, which means one power drop, one cable run and a much faster load-in than a two-tower goalpost. Black truss covers hide the structure so the audience sees light, not aluminium, and the whole assembly photographs cleanly behind the couple.
How the setup runs on the day
Our crew arrives ahead of the guest call time, positions the truss where it will not block service paths or camera angles, runs power from the distribution center and focuses every fixture before the room opens. Cues are set with your DJ or coordinator so the lighting follows the timeline instead of running at random: soft wash during dinner, a beam look for the entrance and first dance, full movement once the party starts. At the end of the service the rig is struck and the area is left clear.
Availability moves quickly in high season, especially between November and April. To hold a date we ask for the venue, the event date, the guest count and the schedule for the night. Once those are confirmed we reserve the equipment and the crew for your event.
Important note
Final placement depends on ceiling height, available power and venue rules. Some resorts require the rig to be set outside guest hours or ask for their own electrician to make the power connection. Send us the venue name and the event date and we will confirm what is possible before you book.
What is not included
Sound system, DJ equipment, LED screens, stage and dance floor are quoted separately. This listing covers lighting only. If you are building a full production, ask us for a bundled quote: combining lighting with sound and DJ services from the same supplier usually reduces the total setup time at the venue.
Check availability for your date
Send us your date, venue and guest count on WhatsApp and we will confirm availability.
Price shown is for a 5-hour service within the Riviera Maya. Extra hours, travel outside the standard coverage area and power generation are quoted on request.
