Macrame backdrop rental gives a ceremony a focal point without building a structure that competes with the beach behind it. Knotted cotton reads warm on camera and moves slightly in the wind, which is the whole point of an outdoor wedding.

Where it works
Beach and garden ceremonies, head tables and photo areas across Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Tulum. It also works indoors behind a sweetheart table when the room is bare and needs texture.
It photographs against the light, not with it
Macrame is at its best backlit — late afternoon sun through the knots is what sells the piece. Flat midday light makes it read as a beige wall. Talk to your photographer about ceremony time before you fix the direction it faces.
Outdoors, wind is the variable. The panel is meant to move, but a strong onshore breeze turns it into a sail, so the structure is ballasted and we check the forecast the day before.
Pairing
Sits well with cross back chairs and wooden tables. Behind a sweetheart table it gives every speech photo a background.
Logistics
Hung on site, so we need access before guest hours and a level surface. Beach positions need ballast. If the ceremony and reception are in different spots, tell us early — moving and re-hanging it between the two is possible but has to be scheduled.
Price shown is for a single event day within the Riviera Maya. Florals, relocation between areas and travel outside the coverage area are quoted on request.
