How this DJM 800 rental Riviera Maya compares
Against a two-channel console this mixer buys you room: two decks, a microphone and a live instrument can all stay plugged in at once. Against the six-channel DJM-V10 it is simpler and lighter, and for a wedding with one DJ it is usually all the board anyone needs.
Why this mixer keeps getting requested
The DJM-800 is the board most working DJs trained on. Its filter sweep, its crossfader curve and its effects are muscle memory, which means a DJ who has never seen our booth can work on it immediately — and that matters when the first dance is minutes away.
The microphone channel has its own EQ. Speeches at a destination wedding are often the most nervous three minutes of the night, and being able to shape a voice instead of just raising it is the difference between a toast everyone hears and a toast everyone squints at.
Four channels also leave space for a saxophone or a percussionist during the party without unplugging a deck.
What your DJ should bring
Headphones and whatever players they want in front of it — USB decks, a laptop with an audio interface, or both. Tell us if a live musician or an extra microphone is joining so we can confirm the channel count.
Questions we get asked
How many channels does it have? Four, plus a dedicated microphone input with EQ.
Can two microphones run at once? Yes, by taking one on a line channel. Tell us in advance so the mixer arrives configured for it.
Does it work with any player? Any player with a line output, Pioneer or not. A DJM 800 rental Riviera Maya pairs most often with a pair of CDJ players.
Fitting it into your timeline
A reception in the Riviera Maya usually runs a cocktail hour, dinner with speeches, and then two to three hours of dance floor. Five hours of service covers that sequence comfortably, which is why it is the standard block on this item.
If the ceremony happens in a different part of the property and you want music there as well, that is quoted as its own line rather than stretched out of the reception hours — it keeps the party hours intact for the part of the night everyone remembers.
For a reception that runs past midnight, say so while we are quoting. Extra hours are simple to plan for in advance and awkward to add on the night. A DJM 800 rental Riviera Maya is quoted per event, so the hours are the only variable that changes the figure.
Technical sheets for this model are published by Pioneer DJ. For other options, see the Pioneer CDJ-900 players or the 2 CDJ-900 + DJM-800 club setup.
Five hours of service are included. Tell us the players, the microphones and the hours, and we will confirm availability.
